SwindowL was founded in 1960 in the picturesque city of Chongqing, China. The brand's roots trace back to two individuals born in 1942 in Chongqing – Kevin Sun and Lisa Liu. Kevin came from a poor family with many siblings, while Lisa was the cherished jewel of a wealthy family. Despite their different backgrounds, fate brought them together as classmates. Lisa, sitting by the window, would catch Kevin's eye as he secretly listened to the teacher. Initially, Lisa disliked Kevin, but as time passed, she discovered his charm and intelligence. This newfound admiration blossomed into a deep friendship.

Years later, as Lisa pursued higher education and Kevin worked hard to make ends meet, they remained inseparable friends. Kevin toiled at a university stall selling pet supplies and household items. Lisa often lent a helping hand after classes. However, fate took an unexpected turn as Lisa's family arranged for a wealthy marriage prospect. Heartbroken, Kevin vowed to make something of himself. In 1960, he founded SwindowL, symbolizing the bond he shared with Lisa.
